Back at The Perch, we meet with the Vulture to get the last item.

He does a blue vapor line and taps his hand on the table. “The last item you seek is a Plasma Core. I have that here, with me.”

Guy steps towards him. “You have the core? Name your price.”

The Vulture eyes Freedom, grins, then looks back to Guy. “I want a Protobot. And I want you to bring one to me. Alive.”

“Done,” I say and turn to leave.

The Vulture laughs. “You’re so sure that you can get one? I do admire your confidence.”

I turn around and give him a grin. “We’ll get you what you want. Been looking forward to seeing one of them again, anyway.”

“Alright then. What are you waiting for? Go,” he says and waves us away.

I meet the gorilla at the black velvet door. “After you, Harambe.”

He grunts in reply and leads the way out.

On the main floor of the club, I get the sense that someone is watching me. I scan the room for the source of my discomfort and find it almost immediately.

Well, he is hard to miss.

King Khiri stands by a table with a glass of blue liquid in hand, dressed in a white suit tailored for his massive size. He eyes me with curious disdain.

What’s fish face doing here?

One would think that a place like this attracts his type, would they not?

Yeah. And I’m not too happy about him seeing me. Since the change, we’ve been able to go incognito for the most part. The less people know about my movements, the better.

Khiri goes back to talking to his friends and pays me no mind.

I’m sure it’ll be fine. He’s just a minor player in the game, anyway. I’m not worried about him or anyone else knowing where I am.

Still better to be safe than sorry.

What would you have me do? Kill him now? Right here on the spot?

The thought did cross my mind. You’re already a PK, so…

I’m not going down that road.

Nothing good will come of it.

My sights are set on Shakra and the Source Code.
